YMCA JR. THEATRE (AGES 6 - 9)
This is the perfect introduction to theatre for any young actor. Each week we will participate in exercises and games that will develop all the skills needed for the stage. During this session, the students will work on a short performance that will be presented at the YMCA Arts Day on the first or second Saturday in December.

Students in this class will work on acting skills, character development, stage presence and more. Theatre games and improv will be part of class in order to spark creativity and share ideas. Register Online ›Musical Theatre Dance (Ages 7 - 11) *NEW*
This class is for enthusiasts of musical theatre who want to learn basic and beyond dance skills that might be utilized in community theatre or school productions. Students will learn short combinations that will be incorporated into choreography to beloved musical theatre songs. Singing along is welcome and encouraged!

Safe Sitter (11+)
Calling all baby-sitters 11 and up! This nationally recognized, medically accurate, hands-on class teaches boys and girls how to handle emergencies such as injury management and choking rescue while caring for children. Students will learn the basics of childcare through games, activities and role play. Course includes a Safe Sitters tote bag starter kit and manual ($30 value). Class size is limited. Pizza will be provided for lunch.

If you enjoy helping people and would like an opportunity to share your ideas for making your community better for all, we invite you to be a part of this community supporting team. We welcome all young people who can be art loving, sports minded, bookish, extroverted, introverted and those of all interests to join us once a week, for the first 3 Tuesdays out of each month to participate in planning and participating in projects that lift us all up!

YMCA Robotics
This basic robotics class will challenge students’ thinking by introducing block programming and building with specified Legos. Students will be exposed to all of the benefits of STEM including building bonds with their peers and learning more about our world.
