The YMCA Tennis program is all about fun, friends, fitness and learning this lifetime sport! Whether you’re attempting to hit your first forehand, playing your first match, or preparing for a tournament, we have the class for you.

Youth Tennis (Ages 4-8)

Pee Wee Tennis (Ages 4 - 5)

Filled with fun games and drills designed to introduce the game of tennis to the younger player.

Little Hitters (Ages 5 - 6)

Using the “Quick Start” tennis program, we will be introducing the game of tennis to our younger tennis players. This program is filled with fun games and learning techniques for our budding tennis stars.

Rookies (Ages 7 - 8)

For kids who are starting to develop tennis skills and ready to continue the journey. This program is filled with fun games and learning techniques for our budding tennis stars.

Youth Tennis (Ages 9-18)

Junior Aces (Ages 9 - 11)

Teaches the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and exciting setting. It will include learning different strokes, rules and practice drills to help the player enhance their skill level.

Aces (Ages 11 - 14)

Focuses on learning and improving different tennis strokes through various fast-paced practice drills with an emphasis on match play.

Advanced Aces (Ages 11 - 14)

This is an advanced class for the player focusing on improving match play. This class will involve fast-paced drills and match play situations. Reminder: Player must have instructor approval for class.

High School (Ages 14 - 18)

This class is for the intermediate to advanced tennis player. It will focus on improving the mental and physical game of tennis through fast paced drills and match play situations.

Advanced Hitting (Ages 14 - 18)

This class will be offered Winter 1 ONLY. This class is for the varsity level high school tennis player. It will be filled with fast paced drills with an emphasis on match play for both singles and doubles. Reminder: Player must have instructor approval for class.

Beginning Junior Aces (Ages 9-11)

The YMCA offers beginning tennis classes for children in grades 3rd-12th. These classes will be geared towards children with little or no tennis experience. The class will focus on learning the basic fundamentals and rules of tennis.

Beginner (Ages 18+)

Private Tennis Lessons (All Ages)

Allows one on one time with an instructor; available for players at any age or level. The price of a private lesson will include the regular court fee, plus the cost of the instructor.

Cardio Tennis

Triples & Singles/Doubles Drills

Singles/Doubles Drills: Sign up by yourself or with a partner for doubles! You will go through either singles or doubles strategy in drills and game play. It will be posted if the clinic is singles or doubles.

Triples: 3-5 members on a team! A fast paced, timed game where teams will rotate after each point and play different teams each round. It is a great and healthy workout for people of all ages and abilities.
