Boot Camp

Come join us for a workout designed to challenge and improve your strength, muscular & cardio endurance, flexibility, and body composition. This workout will help to increase your endurance with athletic movements and basic calisthenics. Note: This class will utilize outdoor areas when weather permits.

The Cancer Exercise Program is a free exercise class for cancer patients and survivors. The 60-minute classes are open to all who have been diagnosed with cancer regardless of treatment status, and are appropriate for all fitness levels. Each class is specifically tailored towards participants’ fitness levels and needs. Let our certified instructors help you on your recovery.

SPIN & TONE

Will bring you on a high intensity cycling journey, ranging from hill climbs to sprints and everything in between. Indoor cycling classes are a great way to burn fat and increase your overall fitness. Spin and Tone class is high intensity cardiovascular in nature but can be adapted for all fitness levels. Following the 30 minute Spin, grab your dumbbells, kettlebells and med ball for a 30 minute toning class that will complete and complement your cardio workout. Participants in the is class can also join Sculpt at no extra cost.

Women's Weight Training

Weight training is a necessary component of everyone’s exercise program to manage weight, to protect against bone loss, to strengthen the body, and to fight against diseases. These classes use personalized instruction to teach members weight-bearing and muscle strengthening exercises using free weights and machines for a full-body workout. We can accommodate every fitness level, regardless of experience, health concerns or physical limitations. It will give you a total body workout and improve your confidence using the Fitness Center.

Sports Team Training

The Sports Team Training (STT) program is for middle school, high school & collegiate sports teams. This program consists of a 1hr 15min, 2-day-a-week, total body plyometric training workout. Offering an elite level training at an affordable cost! For the last 7 years, we have conducted the pre-season training for the EHS ladies basketball & softball team. We can help your team too!

Hatha Yoga: Foundations

Yoga practice that includes poses that range from gentle to challenging and comes from a stable, self-centering energy. Learn the traditional and basic foundational postures. Each pose is held for about 5-10 breaths. Guided meditation for the final rest. Great for beginners.

Yoga

These classes are open to all who wish to learn Yoga basics and refine their practice. Classes are open to all levels, beginner to advanced. We will practice Yoga breath (pranayama), dynamic postures (asanas), and the flow of breath (vinyasa). Through the practice of integrating breath and refining postures, participants will increase flexibility, strength and balance and feel relaxed and restored.

Yoga for Cancer *NEW*

“Research shows that for most people exercise is safe and helpful before, during, and after cancer treatment. It can improve your quality of life as well as the energy you have to do the things you like.” -The American Cancer Society

A gentle practice of slow yoga movement including restorative yoga, meditation, and breath work techniques. Practicing yoga can help reduce fatigue, channel intrusive thoughts, promte better sleep, reliev anxiety, increase muscle strength, bone health, range of motion and provide community. This class is designed for all levels of ability, providing options to practice on the mat, in a chair, or standing while online. Registration is Required. Instructor is RYT200 instructor certified in Yoga for Cancer and Accessible Yoga by Yoga Bridge; a non-profit organization providing yoga for cancer since 2011.

Barre

Beyond a basic barre workout: this class encourages you to challenge yourself with weights, planks, pushups, thigh, glute and hamstring work, sometimes using a barre for balance. A short, intense targeted core work at the end of the class will strengthen your abs and back muscles. It is a combo of strength training, barre, yoga and pilates. Challenging and effective for all ages!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges? Join our Coping Skills Workshop and embark on a journey towards better mental well-being. Restorative Yoga

Special 1 Night Class: This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Props will be used to support posture and poses will be held for an extended period of time. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.

CANDLELIGHT RESTORATIVE YOGA

Indulge in the ultimate yoga experience combining soft music and candlelight in this special 75 minute class. This yoga practice brings inner peace and centering to your mind, body and breath. Props are used to hold the postures to allow the body to relax and release. Suitable for all levels.

Candlelight Yoga Flow

Indulge in the ultimate yoga experience combining soft music and candlelight in this special 75 minute class. We begin slowly by mindfully flowing with the breath from one pose to the next. Gradually the poses increase in difficulty ensuring everyone from beginners to more advanced students find their space to grow in strength and confidence. By practicing in a candlelit space, we can focus on our own individual light to release judgement and competition. This helps release physical, mental, and emotional tension. Each student’s abilities will be honored by offering variations to support all levels.
