Gymnast must be able to do forward and backward rolls to a stand on the floor, front support roll-down on bars, and walk relieve in all directions on beam. (50 minutes; 8:1 ratio)Register Now ›
Gymnast must be able to do a cartwheel, handstand and bridge kick-over on floor, pullover unassisted on bars and front support mount and tuck jump on beam. (60 minutes; 8:1 ratio)Register Now ›
Gymnast must be able to do round-off, handstand forward roll and back-bend kick-over on floor, 2 legged pullover and back-hip circle on bars, whip up mount, handstand and cartwheel to handstand on beam. (70 minutes; 8:1 ratio)Register Now ›
Gymnastics Specialty Classes
YMCA Gymnastics Pre-Team
A special invite-only introduction to our gymnastics team. In this class, they will learn the basics of vault, beam, bars, and floor and begin to work on skills that will ready them for competition.
Special Needs Gymnastics Class

Gymnastics & Dance Combo (Ages 3-5)
This class gives your child the opportunity to take gymnastics and dance. Class will participate in 30 minutes of gymnastics and 30 minutes of ballet. All classes will meet in lobby by Gymnastics room.Register Now ›
Mighty Mites (Ages 5-6)
This special advanced class focuses on Swinger skills for gymnasts that have shown good flexibility, strength, listening skills, and good concepts of body awareness. Mighty Mites meets twice a week. Must be director approved. (75 minutes X 2 days; 6:1 ratio)Register Now ›
Must be scheduled with coach and approved by the Gymnastics Director.
Will not be held during regular class times unless by the Director.
Must be paid for PRIOR to the time of the lesson and receipt must be handed to coach.
Cancellation without notification will result in being charged for the missed lesson.

1 Hour: Members $25 | Non-Members $30
Both parties must agree to sign up together. The attending student pays for a full private lesson if one student misses.

This recreational team practices year round and competes throughout the states of Illinois and Missouri in the USAG levels 2-8. Team spirit, sportsmanship and self-esteem are emphasized. Must Be Director Approved.
