Recycled Animal Art (K - 2nd Grade)

This interdisciplinary, multimedia art course encourages young artists to think outside the box of everyday art materials. Weekly, students will be prompted to create unique animals with unconventional items while learning various art techniques along the way.

In this camp you will learn basic knitting and crocheting stitches and pick up a few tips along the way. Experience the satisfaction of making your own simple, handmade projects. While our neighborhood fairies are hard at work directing the bees and

How many different ways can you think of to make a flower? In this camp,
you will make flowers out of different materials each day. You will explore your options using paper, pipe cleaners, beads and more. On the last day of camp, you will plant your very own flower seeds in a pot that you will decorate and take home. Take care of your seeds and watch them grow!

Inaugural Drone Academy (2nd - 8th Grade)

This exciting and educational Tuskegee Airmen created program teaches students the basics of programming and flying drones. It is designed for kids of all ages interested in technology, engineering, and aviation. Students will learn how to program and fly drones, as well as understand the mechanics behind them, while also learning about safety, regulations, and ethical considerations. The camp provides a fun and challenging environment for kids to develop skills and knowledge while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. With experienced instructors, this camp is the perfect opportunity for children to explore their interests and discover new passions.

Safe Sitter (5th - 8th Grade)

This nationally recognized, medically accurate, hands-on class gives CPR training and teaches kids how to handle emergencies such as injury management & choking rescue while caring for children. Learn the basics of child care through games, activities & role play. Course includes a Safe Sitters tote bag starter kit & manual ($30 value). Students are encouraged to bring a snack and water.

Clay

This week will offer hand-built ceramics for our younger campers and wheel throwing for the older campers. K-2nd will enjoy learning hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil & slab construction. 3rd – 8th graders will have an intensive two days on the wheel. All students will use the third day for glazing their pieces. Ceramic projects will need to be picked up two weeks later, once fired.
